Before and After's

 I have been noticing all the young birds with their parents in the back yard recently.Though I have really never noticed the big difference in their looks and coloring till seeing them all together.

Yes More backyard birding

Another day in the neighborhood, Got to see the Red-headed woodpecker feeding their young'n . so cute. Then my happy backyard was turned asunder, a hawk swooped down from a tree, almost on my head , then just kept tormenting me flying from pine tree to pine tree, taunting me. Watching the activity. He didn't scare from banging on pots or me throwing pieces of branches at him.Back again today flying overhead calling. So far no evidence of a capture in the yard. hopefully he wont get any of the babies. He must be loving me. : (        Posted by Lauren
